Thats a pretty sneaky trick. I think that now a days you gotta compete with such tactics. But, does that mean that readers are longterm or just click back?

It’s one of those things that’s not essential for the small blogger, unless you’re trying to grow your PR etc. If you’re blogging purely for the fun of it, don’t worry too much.

I never pay much attention to anchor text. I generally use web site titles and article titles for them. I hate the “here” example because I see it a lot.

I wouldn’t mind using anchor text that someone asks me to use. It’s just a friendly thing to do.

Nice advice. I guess alot of people still do not understand the importance of anchor texting. For the small time bloggers, that is. JC made me learn it the easy way, by example of wonders that it can do.
