Totally unoriginal I know, but I thought I’d list my social networking profiles (as everyone else has!) so you can find me if you want to, and we can engage in some mutual traffic stimulation….
I think I have most of my regular visitors already, but if some of my many lurkers would like to join the party, you’d be most welcome!
Profile - I took the widget off of Blog-Op as it kept preventing the blog from loading, but I still use it for checking out other neighbourhoods.
Profile - I’ve been a long-time member of BC, but their recent upgrade has really energised the place now, and there’s lots going on with active communities and a fair few interesting discussions. The forums are well worth joining in with, as there’s often some new ideas for driving traffic, along with a lot of reciprocal networking.
Profile - I’ve been on SU a couple of years now and am approaching 5000 stumbles which shows you just how much time I’ve wasted with this! Still my favourite ’social networking site’, it won’t melt your server, more people will actually read your stuff and some will even come back. I always stumble blog posts I like, and it’s cool when they go big. If you want 10,000 hits of a decent quality, write something worth stumbling. Easier said than done I know, but you’ll often find that posts about Stumble are very popular….
Profile - I’m not a huge fan of Digg, and don’t spend a great deal of time there, but I know people who like to be Dugg, and I’ll gladly hand them out. I’m not sure how beneficial a Digg is to a blog, but if you’d like one just ask
Profile - A new one for me, and one I haven’t spent a great deal of time with yet, as I haven’t found many people on there. Join up and let me know you’re there!
I will happily add people in a reciprocal fashion, or leave a link to your profile in the comments and I’ll come find you there.
If you have a post that you feel is worth a Stumble or Digg etc. leave a link to that too, and as long as it’s not spam or rubbish (I’m thinking of the kind of people who insert porn sites into link trains here) I’ll give it a vote on the service of your choice.
I never say no to a nice Stumble either ![]()

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackMBL doesn’t load too badly these days, but your biggest problem has always been those sidebars loading first.
If you need help fixing it feel free to send me over your complete theme files in a zip.
p.s. I stumbled because it is a good post, not because of the subtle last line
This is really a good idea which I might take up on too.. and in fact instead of a one time post I might add all this in my About page!
In fact, I never found you on SU and just added as a friend but I think I have you covered in the rest.
Bumpzee is something I have been wanting to get on and might do it today. Also have to join Andy’s no follow community there!
My most important ones have all been added to my BlogCatalog page:

Cheers Andy, I might just do that - RT gave me a run through on the sidebars issue, but my theme does things strangely & we couldn’t get it to work.
I don’t know what you mean
K, that’s a great idea to put it on the About page, I need to re-write mine as well.
Thanks Baxter, have added those I’m a member of.
Nice roundup!
Chris, they don’t seem to be showing up on your BlogCatalog page. Just a heads-up.
You’re such a old-time stumbler! An injustice that you only have 6 reviews.
Just gave you a long overdue review for your Stumble profile, Chris
Nice round up, I am using everything but blog catalog at the moment.
Networking and commenting dofollow blogs generates traffic. I see it in action with my new site
I’m an old time everything Maki!
Thanks, I shall have a read….
You mean my other networks Baxter? That’s because I’ve been too lazy to add them. Another job for the list.
Cheers Dubai News:-)
Don’t forget, anyone want a stumble etc. on a particular post let me know which one…
Hi, I’m new to bumpzee! Any good reference about it? I’m still strange about stumble and digg traffic. So many traffic by zero page view. I wonder if the digger and stumbler just stuck in the middle ways and never reach my blog…
Hey Ken.
You’ll find that Stumble & Digg traffic is targeted at the one page, and most of the visitors won’t go elsewhere, although of the two, Stumblers are more likely to read further.
Interesting stuff, although I am very, very unsocial. Blogging has not really changed that, well well.
