Further to my earlier reported problems with Google Reader, I’ve narrowed it down to this: In Firefox 2.0.0.4 Google Reader is NOT loading FeedBurner feeds.
I’ve checked this with each of my 80+ feeds: If the feed is run through FeedBurner it will not load, but if it’s direct from the blog it will load and read fine. The headlines are coming through on the GR homepage, but I cannot read the posts. If I use IE6 or 7 the feeds can be read.
Those of you who said you were suffering similar problems may want to check for this: If you hover your cursor over the feed name, the URL of the feed will show in the bottom left of your browser, and you can see if it’s FeedBurner or not. I can see nothing about this on the FeedBurner forums, and I think it may be a FireFox issue, as everything was fine up until the last upgrade.
Any ideas?

Any idea whether this is a Windows only thing, Chris? I’ve not installed Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Linux yet.
Hmm, no problems here. I’m running Firefox 2.0.04 and don’t have a problem with Google Reader and/or Feedburner.
Do these problem occur exclusively on English language installations? Cause I use the German.
Like Tobsy, I’m using 2.0.0.4 and having no problems.
Think I’ve found the problem, just checking it out….
Chris, There is a clean way out
Start using NetVibes. Google Reader is just over hyped.
