My blog’s viewership has grown amazingly fast in the short amount of time it’s been up.

Although having promotional things in place is always good, I’ve found the best key to be networking, networking, networking! Get out and meet people just like you would in a job. Visit their blogs, leave comments. When someone leaves a comment at your blog, return the favor and thank them for stopping by.

I was told by Bobby at Bestest that he could get people to my blog, but it was up to me to keep them coming back. I’ve found that people like to be a part of things. They like to contribute opinions when asked.. so I ask. I put up things they can participate in like quizzes and polls.

Another thing I do is try to keep a mix of things. Videos, funny pictures, jokes or stories. Personal happenings or life events. I stay away from politics and religion.

Be a member of the community by joining in weekly events like Thursday Thirteen. And lastly, I give links to the people I’ve stolen(?) things or gotten ideas from.
