Or rooting through the rejects ;-)

Matthew at eJabs has tagged me to produce a list of my favourite unpopular posts, that is those that I think are worth reading, but which never really got any response. Can I just choose the whole blog?

Failing that, here are some, mainly from the early days that may be of interest:

  1. Spellcheck -A Quick Tip Still valid today, you wouldn’t believe how many badly spelled blog posts are still out there. I know WordPress has it’s own spellchecker, but this is better.
  2. Ping Is King Crap title, valid point. Make sure that when you’re posting, you’re pinging.
  3. Use Blogger? Want More Comments? If you must use Blogger, please make it easier for your readers to comment. Having to type ‘zzkftpda’ before every comment is not fun.
  4. How To Upgrade Your WordPress blog Using the Fantastico script is easiest, but if that’s not available to you, my 10 step guide will take you through in 5 minutes. Make sure you’re up to date!
  5. Add A Sitemap To Your Blogger Blog OK, this wasn’t unpopular, but it deserves bringing to the front, due to the Blogger users Claire’s been bringing in.
  6. Get Your Own Domain Name Do it now, it hardly costs anything, but will pay you back in no time.
  7. How To Setup A Blog How to setup a WordPress blog in easy to follow steps. Go on, you won’t regret it!
  8. Let Your Readers Email You You never know when it may pay off with something interesting….
  9. Give Something Back I still try to do this now more than ever.
  10. Make Simple Blog Format Changes With CSS It’s easier than you think…

Right, that will do for me. Have you any posts you’d like to give some fresh air to? Leave a link in the comments to some of your best, and we can have a read, and maybe hand out some Stumble love. Alternatively maybe write your own post (please link back to eJabs as the meme originator) and let me know.

It’s good to recycle!
