I have been tagged by K of ShanKri-La to list my top 5 must-read blogs, and whilst I don’t always enjoy being tagged, this one was easy
- David Airey: David is a graphic designer by trade, and although his blog obviously focuses upon that, it is by no means exclusive, and still very interesting to non-designers, especially the way he applies his knowledge and experience to blogging. This is further reflected by the stats and rankings attached to Davids site which have been obtained completely organically: There’s no John Chow style gaming here, it’s all about the content.
- Time For Blogging: Relatively new for me, but an instant add to my reader, Josh’s blog is accessible, interesting and always worth reading. Always glad to see a feed update on this one!
- Savvy Affiliate: I only encountered Scotts blog last week when he submitted an article to Blog-Op, but I am already a regular reader. His current output is astounding (and maybe a little too high), but 4-6 good posts a day is quite something. If he carries on how he’s started, this is one to watch.
- Untwisted Vortex: I know I’ve linked RT’s blog before, but I’ll do it again, because there’s always something new there. From personal experiences, to personal opinions and with some brilliant WordPress/blogging/website related tips, this is one you’ll want to subscribe to.
- Niche Marketing: If Andy Beard’s blog isn’t already known to you, then it should be. Rectify that mistake immediately
Opinion, original thinking and some great tech tips make this a real thinking bloggers site.
I’ll also say that I agree with all of K’s choices and would have included some of them here, except that would have made it a top 7 or 8.
One final disclaimer, the above are my favourite blogging/tech/webby related blogs (although it’s hard to catergorise UV!). I have an equal top 5 of personal blogs I may post up on Thermal.
No ‘official’ tags, but I’d love to know the top reads of Maki, David and Andy - If you don’t want to post about it, my comments box will do
