Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackbackthanks this is great info!
A good blogger should make his/her blog easily searchable. Consider adding a tagcloud from Swicki or Quintura (to be launched soon – http://company.quintura.com/newsroom/20061220_01.asp).
Morning, Chris! What’s for breakfast today? Great TT!
Good ideas, but I am against “promoting” my blog. If it’s only the nr of people who shows up in my counter and they don’t even read what I write, and leave stupid comments which proove that they haven’t read anything what profit do I have from this ?
I think these are good suggestions if you’re a blogger looking to increase your traffic. Like Gattina, I’m not really interested in that – so where does that leave us?
All good ideas!!!
Hi all, thanks for visiting & commenting.
Gattina & she: If you don’t want to promote your blog, why do Thursday 13? Why leave a link? Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all about numbers, but if you don’t do ANY site promotion, no-one at all will read your blog-what’s the point then? None of the promotion ideas outlined above involve spamming anyone, or angling for stupid comments (a valid point), they’re simply about allowing people to find your blog.
I’m not sure where it leaves you: Where do you want to be?
Ok, smart guy. You will get double traffic today:-)
I don’t have enough comments for exercise!
I will Exercise for Comments!

I am founder of a blogging community and I was going to create a list of 13 tips for blogging, but I thought that it would be so much like my other articles that I would do something different. I was not showing off, but writing about a woman I love and miss dearly. I enjoyed reading your tips. Thanks for dropping by.
Great IDEAS. I just might add a site map.
Sunflower, I don’t know what you mean..
Rose, your TT was excellent.
Maggie – go for it! What could go wrong?
This is an awesome list — thank you for taking the time to put this up!
(my T13 is up too)
Blessings,
Karla

Interesting tips, Chris! I’m going to bookmark this post and come back when I’ve got a little free time.
[...] For an example, check out todays Thursday 13 on my blog: Blog-Op You can see my list, and underneath a box containing the names & links of bloggers who have visited & commented. You can follow these links and then leave your own comment and link – it’s a really good idea. Others include the Wordless Wednesday where you post a photo of your choice, and Photo Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, where you are given a theme to find a photo. [...]
Cool list. Check out bloggertalk.net for more blog directories to submit to.
great list. I’m going to try some of these.
Happy TT
I didn’t mean to link and run but the system wouldn’t let me comment yesterday…
Oh, my lucky day today! I am not considered spam! interesting list, I am checking out your links, very good ones!!
happy TT and happy weekend!
Thanks Miss Pink, I will (if I ever get some time!)
Mar, don’t worry it happens. You weren’t in my spam folder so it may have just been a gremlin in the system. What error message did you get BTW?
Cheers Dawn!
Hey! I actually got some traffic from here.
Hope you get some back from me….if not, i’ll take care of that.
Lemme know, Chris.
Carol, you’ve already done loads for Blog-Op, Blog-Buzz has given me lots of traffic.
Still, if you’re offering….
Great list! I didn’t know about several of these, and Blog Buzz sounds like a great idea.
