I’ve started a new category called Quick Tips. Typically less than? 2 paragraphs, these can be anything related to blog improvement & optimization.

This is old advice, but very relevant to blogging: keep a notepad handy. Ever have good ideas for a post while away from your computer? Sat down in front of it 3 hours later, and can’t quite remember.

If I have a good idea for a post now, I quickly commit it to paper, especially the bit which made me think ‘that’s a good idea!’ This is also useful when you get a rush of good ideas-rather than blog them all at once, you can note them down, and spread them out. Chances are if you put 10 great posts up at once, people will only read 5. Post 2 great ones for 5 days, and people will keep coming back.

Blog-Op was conceived & planned on paper, as I had no access to a PC at the time of the idea.
