In the 4th part of this look back through my previous posts, I’ve rummaged through my Quick Tips category to find a selection of easy tweaks for you to better your blog.
One of the things I attempt to do with Blog-Op is to simplify some of the more convoluted instructions you will find for the technical aspects of blogging, like installing and/or editing plugins, themes etc. But somedays I don’t feel like doing hugely technical things with my blogs, and I’m sure you don’t either, so I came up with quick tips.
Quick tips should be just that, simple tips and tweaks that you can carry out in 10 minutes or so, and improve an aspect of your blog. These can be technical, stylistic or just altering you approach to a part of your blogging. To keep things quick, all tips have just a simple description, and if you like the sound of them, just follow the link for more details.
The Tips

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackInteresting take on your blogging tips. I own my own domain name, or at least I thought I did. Thanks for the insight.

I know I don’t own gospelrhys.co.uk. It’s technically owned by my brother. It was a 21st birthday present to me from him, he was going to register it in my name, but the company wouldn’t let him (the name on the credit card was different).
Strange though you can’t register domains in other people’s names though unless you’re a company. :S
I’d love to find out how I can transfer it, but I don’t think it’s worth the hassle tbh.
Bit scary the domain name issue, isn’t it?
Rhys, I know what you mean, and this is why I haven’t bought any for anyone else yet-it must be easy, but I bet it involves a fee…
I’ve already done a few of these but I never thought about the post slug. Good stuff. thanks
No problem
I love the post slug now I’ve discovered it, makes titling & SEO so much easier!
