You can have the best blog in the world, but if you can’t spell, you’ll lose readers like there’s no tomorrow - and there probably won’t be for your blog. The solution is easy: Install Firefox2, because it includes a built-in spell checker for entering data into web forms. In other words, it will spell check your blog post for you, underline mistakes in red, and offer suggestions. Just right-click on the mis-spelled word, choose the best suggestion, and it will auto correct. If you’re sure you’re right, you can add your spelling to the dictionary.
You do not have to get rid of your existing browser. If you hate Firefox (and you won’t) it’s easily un-installed and will not make a mess of your computer setup (unlike Internet Explorer 7 for example). It will happily work alongside your existing browser, and you can use it only for blog posting if you want. But at least every blog post you make will be spelled perfectly.
