Some interesting results from last weeks poll where I asked how many blogs you were currently running, and whether you wanted more.
Of the 25 people who voted, 72% had two or more blogs, with another 12% having one but wanting more. It does seem that once the blogging bug has bitten, most people succumb to multiple blogging. The majority of voters have 2 blogs, but there was one hardy soul who admitted to the 5-10 range - I wonder how many it actually was?
So if you’re thinking of starting another blog, you’re not alone, and with the lessons you have picked up from your first one (in addition to what you learn here of course!) the launch of blog no.2 should go smoothly and hopefully with some success.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI’ve been rooting around in Google Analytics quite a bit this morning. The wealth of info there is amazing - and perusing the miriad of reports is kind of addictive!
The surprising (and maybe a teensy bit disappointing) thing I’ve discovered is that our secondary blog, Dede’s Russian Adoption Journal is pulling in more traffic and more repeat visitors than our main 2Dolphins blog.
Maybe that goes to illustrate how powerful and supportive community connections for a niche blog can be…
Hmm, traffic patterns can be a confusing thing can’t they
I concur. The second blog comes much easier, becuase the lesson learnt from the first one
