A fairly emphatic response to the question as to whether you should automatically subscribe your commenters to receive email updates of further comments, or whether they should make the decision themselves.

80% of respondents voted to say that they dislike automatic subscription and that it actively annoys them, with the remaining 20% equally split between not minding, or actually preferring it. The choice, as ever, is yours but I for one will not be automatically subscribing anyone to on my blogs.
