It appears most people have thought about what they will do for their blogs with 70% of respondents doing something to cover their absence - Tied for first were putting up a ‘Going away’ post letting your readers know you won’t be around, and using ‘time-delayed posts’ which appear automatically.

6% would use a guest blogger, which is becoming a popular idea, and is something I would certainly consider if anybody is interested. Of course you can use guest bloggers anytime, not just when you’re on vacation, but as a means for having a fresh voice on your blog, as well as giving some exposure for the guest blogger.

12% will do nothing when they go away, whereas the last 18% have yet to consider the issue: hopefully the various responses have given you some ideas for the fast approaching summer.
