Text Link Ads (TLA) is a new site I’ve come across offering bloggers the opportunity to place fixed text ads on their site. Unlike Google adsense, YOU get to approve the ads that will be shown, which is an excellent way of avoiding unsuitable ads popping up & annoying your readers.
Basically, TLA gives you a script to install on your blog/site, which will display the ads. You get to review all ads currently in rotation, and approve/reject as you see fit. You can opt to be emailed every time a new ad is sold, to again give you the chance to approve or reject it.
The ad revenue is split 50/50 between you and TLA, and you may select PayPal as a payment option, or checks if you prefer. More good news is that as TLA ads are not contextual, you can run them alongside your adsense ads. For more information, click on the banner:

I don’t believe so. They certainly didn’t ask me, but then I’m not a US resident.
Unfortunately, the ads will not work on Blogger blogs, unless you are externally-hosted.
