Most peoples PR is falling into place now, and congratulations to you if you managed to increase yours.
It looks like my blogs are staying 4′s, with my new photoblog hitting 4 after just over a month in existence.
I realise that PR is based on more than just sheer number of links, and includes things like quality of links, relevancy etc. but for those of you trying to see how PR actually works, here’s some info for you:
Thermal: 684 links from 111 blogs.
Blog-Op: 612 links from 314 blogs
Autofocused: 107 links from 36 blogs.
All are Page Ranked 4/10. Any clearer for you?

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackBacklinks arent the sole criteria for PR. Its about trust. How your blog is trusted around the world. I have seen many blogs with high backlinks but less pr. Keep the quality content and write unique posts. Get linked from High PR blogs.

Good points, but easier said than done….
I haven’t a clue whether I’m pageranked yet or not. The Google Toolbar says I’m PR3, and Google Webmaster Tools say I’m the usual PR0 .

Thanks, Chris. But I’m still tap-tap-tapping my fingers waiting for Google Webmaster Tools to confirm that.
Rank Alert tells me today that all 72 Google PR data centres have got me listed as PR3 (less than half were yesterday). But I’ll wait and see.
I’ve seen blogs with only 2 or 3 posts with less than 10 linkbacks have PR3 or PR4. Totally no idea about Google PR
