But the one's from regular bloggers with regular personal blogs...it bothers me. Why does that person need money more than me? Why SHOULD I give money to a virtual stranger just because they ASK for it? Are they homeless or hardup? There has to be a VALID reason for asking for money online. We all (those who chose that route) have hosting charges and internet bills to pay....that is the cost of blogging. I don’t like em.

I found one blog where a young man was trying to get 1,000 people to donate $11.11 each to finance his trip around the world. That sounded like the kind of crazy thing I would have done when I was younger, so I decided to support him. The irony is, after about five minutes of looking for ways to contribute my money, I couldn't find any. Maybe it's not quite the same, but give me a good story explaining why you need the money, and I'll probably reward your creativity with a small contribution.
