This week I have had the pleasure of some new blogs…..

• Mr P has launched an intriguing new blog, cash for comments, that offers you the chance of a review, links and comments for your blog, in return for commenting on his. The deal is simple, leave 5 genuine comments on his blog, and he’ll write a minimum 100 word review of your blog, plus come and leave 5 comments. Why? As he says, comments really are the lifeblood of a blog, leading to and demonstrating good traffic and a solid community, which will allow him to carefully monetize the site in future. It’s too new to judge, but he’s written some interesting stuff, and leaving 5 comments was no chore. I’ll let you know what comes of the review.
• Desty Online tells us to make ends meet and then some, and gives us some cracking information on how to avoid the lure of the fast buck, and plan sensibly if you want to make money. Desty is another very new blog, but there’s already some good advice for aspiring money making bloggers, as his advice how rigidly to stick to your niche shows.
• From the newness of the above to blogs, to a blogger who has been going over two years: Michael Martine. If you want to find out what he’s all about, head straight for his seven keys to better blogging – I’ve yet to see a more information packed, yet concise summary of the essentials every serious blogger needs to concentrate on. He’s also designed a number of Wordpress themes, and has a very informative take on sponsored Wordpress themes, which also has some good opinion on paid links in general.
• Finally, K at Shankri-La has become so smitten with the new Apple iPhone, he’s launched a new blog about it, with an aim of being the no.1 place for iPhone resources. Good luck with that, but don’t forget your usual posts like the news about Google docs
