Find out where your readers went (within your blog at least) with this cool plugin: Where did they go from here?
Simple installation, just upload and activate, and this results in the line : “Readers who viewed this page, also viewed” appearing at the bottom of your post, with up to 5 onward links displayed.
It works best if used in conjunction with a Related Posts‘ style plugin, as that immediately puts some deep links at the fingertips of your readers. The author, Mark Ghosh, based it on the recommendations given when you shop on Amazon (People who bought this, also bought….) and it may tempt people to read further, as well as adding extra deep links to your blog, which is no bad thing.
The basic installation resulted in the links being shown below the comments box, so I added an extra call to single.php so it was also shown below Related Posts. This will be of use when there are a number of comments, stretching the page. After installation it will show ‘N/A’ at first, but as soon as you start following a few links they should begin to display.

Hey Vinod, glad you like it-have another go at posting the code if you want, but maybe substitute the <> tags for []? I thought they’d fixed this in Wordpress…
