The best way to increase traffic to your blog, is simply to increase the number of links pointing to it. Blog directories are a good place to start, but often the links you receive from them are re-directed, meaning they are ignored by Google & Technorati.

Write About Us is different, by giving you a free link simply for writing about them (as I am doing here). The link stays on their front page, until it is pushed off by newer ones (currently you will be one of 60 displayed free links), or you can purchase a link. As an added bonus, by writing about them, you will also get your site included in their directory.

Time will tell is WAU is successful, but for now, a link in return for a short post has to be worth it?? I think so.
