These are a specialty produce item. Microgreens are not very easy to grow and the grower must take special care in cultivating them.

Edible blossoms are not microgreens however. But, you can make some of the most delicious dishes, such as marigold ice cream or zucchini flower soup using the edible blossoms on these plants. You can find recipes for these dishes online. There are also a lot of other dishes that cooks and chefs make out of edible flowers. One of the most popular uses of edible flowers is to use them in salads.

    So, microgreens are those tiny little veggies, like teeny carrots, but not baby carrots. Edible blossoms are the flower blossoms on certain kinds of plants, including vegetable plants, right?

    We went to an upscale restaurant and they put some lilac blossoms in our salad. It was a gorgeous salad and the lilacs were pretty good in it too.
