Don’t eat anything that is extremely hard, like crutons, ice cubes whole apples, hard candy hard pretzels, nuts and sandwiches that include hard rolls or corn on the cob. These food items that are extremely hard could make braces fall off if you try to eat them. Beware of biting into hard foods using your front teeth can reduce the length of time you need to wear braces.
Avoid any sticky foods like caramels, licorice, chewy chocolate, soft candy, or chewing gum. They stick to braces. They may cause decay due to the fact that bacteria develop. All parts of your braces could be damaged by eating foods that are chewy.
The sugar in foods can cause bacteria to expand quickly inside the mouth. Your mouth creates acid to combat the growth of bacteria. When you do eat sugary foods, ensure that you brush or at least rinse your mouth clean by drinking water following the meal. This can reduce the likelihood of damage caused by acid to your teeth and braces. 9a6werdoaj.
